Magic Bricks at Skive Museum

Children’s exhibition about our architectural and housing history on the Museum Staircase at Skive Museum

Explore the history of our housing forms and buildings. The purpose of the exhibition is to give children a more direct approach to thinking about how we live and build. Children move in and out of houses and buildings every day, but rarely do they have the opportunity to reflect more deeply on how they live. Or why there are differences between old and new houses. Or churches and town halls. The exhibition consists primarily of large, colorful and imaginative images that stimulate the children’s imagination and make them want to go on and look at the other pictures. Almost like a comic book. The small texts accompanying each picture are intended to be read by both children and adults, but are not necessary knowledge to be absorbed in the pictures.

The exhibition can be experienced until mid-March, after which it moves on to Spøttrup Borg.
