Current exhibitions

From January 17 to September 28, 2025, you can experience a vibrant exhibition of works from internationally renowned artist Carl-Henning Pedersen. In addition, families with children can explore the Art City, which has been taken over by the art company Farvefnug. From June 7, 2025 to January 2, 2026 you can experience the exhibition “Allan Otte & Ulrik Møller”.

PLEASE NOTE. From September 28 to November 1, 2025, several of our rooms will be under construction due to exhibition development.

Allan Otte & Ulrik Møller

Experience two of Denmark’s best landscape painters when Ulrik Møller and Allan Otte meet at Skive Art Museum. The exhibition revolves around the modern view of nature in both the landscape and agriculture, and includes brand new works by the two artists. The exhibition can be experienced until January 2, 2026.

Dream images

A retrospective exhibition of the internationally renowned artist Carl-Henning Pedersen shows early experimental works from the 1930s and follows the development to the more tranquil compositions of the 1990s. The exhibition is a journey from the artist’s first painterly attempts on canvas to a mature and practiced stage. The exhibition can be experienced until September 28, 2025.

Registrar exhibition

Now’s your chance to see what goes on behind the scenes at an art museum. Come and see a registrar in the middle of the registration process. You will have the opportunity to talk to curator Majken Høgh Olsen, who will register, photograph, type and talk freely about her work as a registrar. You can usually meet Majken on Tuesday and Thursday, but it can vary from week to week.

Art City

From March 12, 2025 you can experience the Art City in the former Gadespejlet. The art creature “Colorflake” has taken over the city! Come and explore creative opportunities where both children and adults can learn about colors and shapes. You can draw, build and explore the world of Color Fluff.
